The unique features of the Millennium Series allow for installation in vehicles without raised doors or tops, thus maintaining the vehicle's "garageability." The standard platform for side (stepwell) installation provides 48" of usable length and will accommodate most wheelchairs. If raised doors are installed later, the same lift can still be used. PATENT # 5261779, 5806632 and patents pending PLATFORM DIMENSIONS Stepwell Application—31" wide x 48" to 56" long Flat-Floor Application—31" wide x 42" to 50" long The Millennium Series offers the convenience of integrated flat-floor conversion components. The platform heel extension is removed and reattached to the bridge plate when converting from stepwell to flat-floor application. Please note: all measurements are usable dimensions. PLATFORM REACH The lift provides up to 42" of floor-to-ground reach. LIFT CONTROLS The control station switch panel is conveniently located utilizing wide paddle-type rocker switches for ease of use by persons with limited dexterity. All switches are color-coded and permanently stamped with the appropriate function. The lift is also equipped for operation by the chair occupant and features the Braun plug-in wiring harness to accommodate automatic door operators, remote, third station, or a hand-held control.

DOOR OPERATORS In-Door Operator side double doors—Chevy, Dodge and Ford rear double doors—Chevy, Dodge and Ford Slide Door Operator*—Applicable Full-Size Vans: Chevy and Ford *1992 and later Ford slide doors require a slight modification to gain the additional opening. The Dodge slide door is too narrow for the Braun Millennium Series®. SAFETY FEATURES The Braun Millennium Series™ has been V.A. approved. It features a shorter ARS (automatic roll stop). It is 4" tall and meets all roll stop testing regulations for V.A. Each system is also standard-equipped with dual handrails. SAE COMPLIANCE An optional threshold warning kit is available. When the lift is below vehicle floor level, an audible signal will warn passengers as they approach the open lift doorway. BRIDGING CAPABILITY The Millennium Series now has the ability to unload directly to sidewalks and high curbs. The roll stop will deploy even when the rear of the platform does not contact the ground.
