SPECIFICATIONS
• Hydraulic under-vehicle wheelchair lift for American-made
full-size vans (side doors only).
• Lift Variations—UVL603A...This lift model will fit most
Chevy, Dodge and Ford full-size vans -

• Special kits are required for proper lift installation –
see your dealer for details.
• System Operation—With the vehicle doors open, the UVL lift
extends from its enclosure underneath the vehicle and raises
to vehicle floor level or lowers to ground level (depending
on the function activated). The wheelchair user boards the
platform and then activates the appropriate function to
raise or lower the lift. With the cycle complete, the
operator activates the "lift stow" button, causing the lift
to retract into its enclosure. After the lift stows, the
operator activates the "door close" button to close the
automatic doors.

• System Description—The lift is
powered by a hydraulic pump module, which is mounted inside
the vehicle. A single-acting hydraulic cylinder raises the
platform to vehicle floor level. The lift is lowered by
gravity. An electric motor extends and retracts the platform
from the weather tight enclosure underneath the vehicle. The
automatic roll stop is activated by an electric actuator,
and the lift features a manual backup system in the event of
vehicle electrical failure.
• Lift Controls—The lift is operated by a standard hand-held
pendant control, which controls all lift and automatic door
operations (if so equipped). An optional remote control
system is available.
• Door Operators—Optional automatic door operator kits are
available for swing-door Chevy, Ford and Dodge vans, as well
as slide-door Ford vans.
