With Diana,™'s four, double wheel, ball bearing castors, maneuvering and transferring is simple. Parking brakes are located on the rear wheels for added safety.

Another feature of the Diana™ is that the base legs can be spread manually for added stability as well as straddling wheelchairs, commodes and other seats. This leg spreading feature also provides added stability while transferring a user from one location to another.

The smoothness of Diana™'s lifting, lowering and transfer action gives the patient a safe and secure feeling. Commode use is made simple using the Barrier Free Lifts® open bottom Toileting or Universal sling. The open bottom design of these slings makes it possible for the patient to use the toilet without having to remove the sling. These slings are also designed so the user does not have to get up or be lifted while putting the sling on.

The Diana™ Lift E (Electric) models greatly improve the lifting performance of care givers. All E models are powered with a standard 24-volt battery. The batteries are removable, thus, with an extra battery one does not have to take the entire lift out of service while recharging the depleted battery. Rather than having their hands "tied up" with pumping on a lift handle, they can give their undivided attention to the patient. They are free to provide a gentle hand to reassure or position the patient. In addition, all Diana Lifts have safety features built into their design. The lifting boom has been designed to protect care givers from moving parts which could pinch or injure them.

The Diana™ Comfort - comes with all of the features listed above including a swiveling mast. The swiveling mast makes it possible to bath a user with ease. One can parallel park the lift next to the bath tub and swivel the user over and into the tub.

The Compact and Mini Diana™'s - come with most of the features of the Diana™ Comfort but are smaller in size respectively and can be easily disassembled for transporting.
